Welcome to fall! It’s time to trade out the soft and light nail polish shades for some darker, richer colors. Get in touch with your inner diva and take a plunge. There is always something sexy about dark glossy polishes on nicely manicured hands. This is the season to try it out. As the tans are fading, don’t let your hands fade with it-- add some spice! There are some great deep, sassy hues out there for fall.

I adore O.P.I. They always have a perfect shade for everyone. I really like Parlez-Vous OPI, their smoky violet color. This color is brand new from their fall/winter 2008 La Collection De France. Sounds chic? Well it is! If you’re a gal who enjoys the latest and greatest, this is a great color for you. It’s the lavender that will draw you in and the splash of black that will maintain the attention. The color is deep and shiny, but not too dark.

It is always difficult to find the right shade of dark blue, and Nars scored on this one. Their Midnight Express, available exclusively at Sephora.com, is the perfect navy blue. It is a little pricey, but with its new long lasting formula, it’s a small price to pay. This midnight blue even looks glossy in the bottle, and I like how it doesn’t have the sparkles, unlike most blue polishes.

For the daring girl, there is a black that is getting nothing but good reviews. Apparently, Hit Me With Your Best Shot hasn’t let anyone down. This color is by Lippmann Collection, and it was created with Pat Benatar. It’s not a flat black, which makes it so nice and seductive. It’s the combination of charcoal and black that makes this color so striking and dynamic. This color is also on the pricey side, but it will last a long time, and for the right shade of black it’s worth it!

Also, on my top list of fall colors, I’m loving Dior’s Mystic Violine, a shimmering, golden bronze color. It’s a sassy color that will be sure to stand out from the rest. I love the fact that it combines a plum and brown together to create such a powerful and mysterious shade. It’s a limited edition color, so snag it up for the season. I know this one the priciest, but think of it this way-- deep colors look awful when they start to chip, and it is always better to go for the quality nail polish brands to ensure the long lasting shiny wear.

So, be bold this fall/winter and try out some sexy seductive shades. Plus, if you like it, you can always think ahead and include it as a stocking stuffer. Be fabulous this fall and enjoy your inner diva while you can!
