Eye shadow can make or break a look. Sometimes ladies over do it and look like complete clowns. Sometimes less is more. But mastering the bold eye shadow look of celebrities like Kim Kardashian can be very sexy and seductive. In Part 1 of this post I mentioned eyeliner and mascara options, but this time I'll be highlighting some great eye shadows that will help you bat your lashes and give off some color.

I love Lancôme color palettes that are up to par with the trendy colors. The newest all-in-one five-shadow Color Design palette will brighten your eyes in no time. This is a versatile palette that can be used for day or night time. The colors can be used together or separately for all over, lid, crease or to highlight and line around the inner eye. The pink, silver, purple, light pink and whitish color palette is a perfect, harmonious blend that can transition smoothly combined with one another. I love the combination of pink and silver/gray with a translucent white in the inner corners of the eyes. It’s a very fresh, feminine yet dramatic look.

I like to get creative, mixing colors together and trying different options with all my eye shadows. By mixing brands and bold colors together, I can see what kind of magic or disastrous combinations can happen. But, if you’re somebody that doesn’t have time for child's play and need a guide or a perfect palette for different occasions I would purchase Sephora Collection Allure Beauty Editor Palette without hesitation -- such an incredible deal!

The Allure Beauty Editor Collection is valued at $150, but it is offered at $34. It is an extensive collection which includes five fashionable color palettes selected by Linda Wells, the editor-in-chief of Allure Magazine, and staff. An included portable compact is interchangeable with all five color palettes. I love the fact that you can take a little compact on a trip or toss it in a handbag.

The palette colors include: copper, bronzes, and browns; sharp jewel tones like violet and green; soft nudes and taupe; black, bold gold, and orange; and smoky charcoal and grays on the last palette. This collection is great for all eye colors. The smoky colors will look great with all, the blue and browns are lovely for a blue-eyed gal, the browns and purples are wonderful with green-eyed gals and the green and browns flatter the brown-eyed ladies. I think you’ll get more than $34 worth from this purchase.

If you are looking for a dramatic, smoky look that gives you a sexy look for nighttime, but don’t want to purchase different color palettes, nor spend money because you are not into wearing eye makeup on a regular basis, try purchasing the CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 4-Kit Eye Shadow. It is a very inexpensive purchase with a straightforward mission: achieving the very popular bold eyes. The deep color schemes with black and deep grays work well together to produce a powerful affect.
