In my last post, I highlighted great luggage pieces can get you from point A to B and back again, with proper protection and style. In this post, I will highlight the accessories you need while you are actually enjoying your vacation.

When you are strolling the streets and exploring a foreign city, it is nice to have an accessible cross-body bag to prevent theft. Whether you are on a bus or train, this is the perfect bag to have on you. I found a cute Coach bag that comes in several different styles and variations. They are all great because they have a couple different compartments and zip on top. The Sutton Signature Swingpack is great for light travel and keeps everything safe and in one small place. Enough space for travel essentials.

Next up are a pair of easy to slip on sneakers that make exploring easy and comfortable. Whether you are going to see ancient ruins or walking a great distance to immerse in a culture, I love the Puma hook and loop closure sneakers. They easily slip on and off, making them a wise travel choice. I like the black color because you don’t have to worry about getting them dirty.

Puma Mostro Perforated Shoes

I found some great sandals on sale. Although sassier sandals do exist, these sandals are good for travel because they keep your feet in place and looking cute. This brand is comfortable and you will not feel bad if you thrash them while on vacation. The little bit of glitz goes a long way and can dress up a casual sun dress.

Sam Edelman Gigi Sandal

→ Buy the Sam Edelman Gigi Sandal, $64.95, at nordstrom.com; shipping and returns are free.

For any trip, it is always nice to have a compartmentalized cosmetic bag that keeps everything clean and organized. I love mine and I have it all organized with samples and travel goodies so if I ever go anywhere spontaneously, I just grab my pre-stocked bag. Another piece of advice, if you don’t want to keep splurging in sample bottles, keep those little sanitizer bottles, wash them out and pour your favorite face wash and lotions in them. Voila!

Travel Companion Toiletries Hanging Case

→ Buy the Travel Companion Toiletries Hanging Case, $15.57, at amazon.com.
