No, this isn't the latest Project Runway fashion challenge. This is a real-life partnership between the all-new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and super creative fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. Isaac is using the Malibu as inspiration for a new Malibu collection, plus he's taking a road trip in the new Malibu to meet women across the country and gain additional inspiration for his collection. As an inspiration for Isaac Mizrahi, the Chevy Malibu encourages creativity with its sleek design, luxurious interior, and bold colors. As part of this new campaign, I was asked to share the fashion inspiration I draw from the Chevy Malibu. I spent a few days studying the new Malibu and its features and I found that it is smart, simple, stylish, and beautiful. Really, all the things many of us fashionistas look for in our lives from our objects to our closets. The bold colors, uncomplicated style, and smart functionality of the Malibu are all traits that are easy to identify with.

Like the new Malibu, my finds offer bold colors, simple yet gorgeous lines, and a feeling of subtle luxury. These are fashions that are at home anywhere -- from work to the weekend, dressy event to casual lunch date -- and perfect for fall. The Malibu was definitely a great inspiration.
