Thinking of jetting off to the urban jungle for your Spring break? Check out my guide for day-to-night style in three of the world's best dressed cities.

London

Spring appears to have got lost en route to London this year, so if you're headed to The Big Smoke- pack plenty of layers. To perfect the quirky, indie, Brit style take inspiration from British style icons such as Alexa Chung and Kate Moss.

For daytime, I've styled a braces skirt and pork pie hat for a quintessential English look, with a vintage inspired jumper and a classic satchel in neon coral for an on trend twist. A chunky heeled ankle boot is a stylish and practical footwear choice for looking fabulous whilst stomping around town.

For an evening look that'll take you from dinner to drinks and beyond, I've gone for girly, glam rock chick with some ultra trendy disco pants and a pretty art deco style top. Avoid strappy sandals or peep toes (unless you want frozen feet) and pack a pair of glitzy shoe boots instead.

Paris

If you're taking a romantic trip to the City of Lights, take style notes from the ultimate French fashionista, Brigitte Bardot- girl knew how to rock a Breton stripe.

Channel Parisian Chic in this season's trends; a monochrome, striped, crop top under a denim dungaree dress ticks all the fashion boxes, paired with cute red pumps. Simplicity is key to achieving a classic Parisian look. A classic trench coat is the ideal lightweight cover up (it can get chilly at the top of the Eiffel Tower) and don't forget the mandatory red lipstick!

For evening, you can do no wrong in a petite robe noire (that's an LBD to you and me). Parisian women know how to flatter their figure, so choose a chic black dress in a style that best suits your shape. Skater dresses are my favourite as a 'pear shape', shift dresses work well for a 'column', or flaunt an 'hourglass' figure in a sexy bodycon.

New York

If there's anywhere in the world where you can have fun with fashion, it's NYC. I've packed a suitcase to rival Carrie Bradshaw's closet, experimenting with some of this season's most fabulous trends.

Printed trousers are hot on the streets of Manhattan, and look great paired with colour block heels. Add a co-ordinating jacket and dark sunglasses to look like a natural New Yorker as you trot down fifth avenue sipping on an obligatory Starbucks.

For cocktails and dancing, I've packed a mash up of trends and textures for a fabulously unique look. Neon trends are hot for SS13, with MSGM's cruise collection boasting a spectrum of summer brights. Pairing neon with monochrome makes it easier to wear and looks edgy and fashionable.
