Snag Fall’s Top Lip Trend for Under $15

Keeping up with fall trends can be expensive, so today’s feature considers lipsticks and glosses that are all under $15. It’s all about plum and rich-colored lips that are subdued for the daytime and ultra-glamorous for the cooler fall evenings.

When you want a pick-me-up, smear some mysterious color on your lips and pucker up. Don’t let the dark shades intimidate you, and pick a deep-pigmented color that goes well with your skin. You can't rule out a shade just by looking at it; experiment a bit and coordinate your eye make-up accordingly. You don’t want to end up looking like a drag queen by going overboard on color.

L’Oreal makes a moisturizing lipstick called "spice." It’s a brownish red that will turn your lips into a vixen pout. The dark hue is great incentive to go easy on your eye make-up. Keeping your eyes simple with black, bold mascara will draw attention to the rich-colored lip. As an added tip, this lip with an all-black outfit is killer.

A little blackberry is always a great way to speak fall. This Poppy King lip gloss is definitely as they describe it: “inviting and mysterious.” Make your lips mystifying with a color that intrigues anyone who is sitting across the table from you. This gloss will show off your lips by making them the loud distraction (or attraction) of the evening.

Sephora’s vinyl lip gloss is getting rave reviews. Apparently, this line lasts through a dinner date, keeping the lips glossed up and bold without rubbing off before a potential kiss. Keeping the lips seductive can never be a bad thing. Not only is "provocative red" an excellent name for a gloss, but the product also lives up to its name. The heavily pigmented and extra shiny color makes it okay to believe the hype.

I never really followed Kate Moss’s career, but apparently she helps to create Rimmel lipstick colors. I don’t think that’s what entices me to try this color; it's more that this is a red lipstick shade that is bolder than most and its price is definitely right. For $5, how could one not indulge in this guaranteed luscious pout for any skin type?
