Current/Elliott Dress - DKNY Pants - Olivia Moon Blazer - 3.1 Phillip Lim Flats - Equipment Shirt

Happy Labor Day! What better way to celebrate the traditional end of summer than with some sale shopping? While there are seasonal sales to be found in just about every online shop, the Nordstrom Summer Clearance Sale has one of the best selections, particularly when it comes to work-appropriate finds. Check out my favorites from the sale here, and then get shopping because this sale only runs through September 11.

1. Current/Elliott The Jackie Denim Shirtdress, $196.80 (was $328.00)
This classic shirtdress shape is flattering and won’t be going out of style anytime soon. As refreshing updates, it has a subtle released unfinished hem and snap closure.

2. DKNY Stretch Cotton Twill Crop Pants, $140.98 (was $235.00)
Cropped pants are so trendy right now. This particular pair strikes me as a closet workhorse in the making. The cotton twill construction will be comfortable enough for weekend wear, yet dressy enough for a business casual office. Plus, the straight shape is so much more versatile than those crazy cropped flares that are all over the online shops.

3. Olivia Moon Knit Blazer, $58.90 (was $79.50)
I love a knit blazer for work. It’s an amazing invention that feels just as relaxed as your favorite sweatshirt, but looks as pulled-together as a traditional blazer. This ultra-affordable sale priced version comes in five colors and both regular and petite fits, in sizes XS-XL. Definitely a fantastic find.

4. 3.1 Phillip Lim Martini Lace-Up Flats, $236.98 (was $395.00)
These pale peach lamb leather flats are part ballerina, part downtown-chic. An odd combination, but it works.

5. Equipment Leema Stripe Cotton Shirt, $112.80 (was $188.00)
Sometime you just need a good button down shirt. When that moment hits, you can’t do much better than Equipment. This classic blue stripe shirt will stand right beside those DKNY pants as a go-to closet staple for years to come.
